Support BitBlog with a Bitcoin donation

BitBlog is an independent project, written by young guys passionate about peer to peer, Bitcoin and digital freedom. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show intrusive advertising. If our articles helped you learn something, a donation helps us keep going.

How it works

On-chain: send any amount in BTC to the address shown above. You can scan the QR directly with your wallet or paste the address manually. The transaction will be recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain within a few minutes, with fees that depend on the network load at that time.

Lightning Network: coming soon. We’re setting up a Lightning Address to receive instant micro-donations with negligible fees. Check back shortly.

Privacy. We do not collect personal data on donations. No registration is required, there is no account, we receive no email. A donation is a peer to peer act between your wallet and ours.

Transparency. BitBlog is not a fundraiser and is not a charity: donations cover time, hosting, tools and research for the content we publish. Thank you, sincerely, for every satoshi.

Don’t have a wallet yet?

If you have never used Bitcoin or Lightning, you can start with a mobile non-custodial wallet: it takes five minutes. On our products page you’ll also find hardware wallets, steel wallets and books to dig deeper into self-custody.

To buy Bitcoin in a peer to peer way, take a look at BitPost: the platform behind this blog was built precisely to trade BTC without going through centralized exchanges.
